Brissago lies about 9 km from Locarno near the Italian border. The typical Rustico is situated on the edge of the village adjacent to the woods. Quiet and sunny hillside position with beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The property for single use is surrounding by Mediterranean vegetation and has a lot of privacy with a very generous outdoor area with an offset slightly downwards seat with garden furniture, a stone table right at the entrance terraced lawn. Driveway until below property. 2 reserved parking spaces. Stepped path to the house (about 90 steps). Bus stop, lake with beach Brissago with swimming pool, lake access, restaurants, lawns, etc. 1,3 km. Shops about 2 km. Bed/kitchen linen available. Washing machine for private use. Pets not permitted.

Rustic furnished rooms. Ground floor: living room with sofa, corner bench with table, Swisscom-TV, wireless internet, wooden ceilings with exposed beams and exit on lake side terrace with stone table and view of the lake and mountains. Separate kitchen with open passage to the living room with cooking combination, electric stove, dishwasher. 6 steps elevated bath with tub/toilet and washing machine. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms with double bed. Bath with shower/toilet. Upper floor with high, sloped rooms with wooden ceiling and exposed beams. (NL-00001454)

We will never book with HolAp and the Ackle couple again.Whether customer… service is good or bad is often only determined when problems arise. And there were!I don’t want to go into the dirt on the ventilation. The apartment was simple, but quite nice.On the day of our arrival, we learned that a jazz festival would be taking place right outside our window for a week: noise from midday until sometimes 3 a.m., from several stages simultaneously in our direction, with the balcony acting as a funnel, amplifying the whole thing. We couldn’t sleep! We saved the audio and video footage.The Ackle couple seemed inexperienced. After we raised our complaint, nothing more remained. The Ackles dismissed it, saying they had mentioned the jazz festival. Yes, they had, in a different context, without mentioning the significant noise disturbance. Also outrageous was their response that we should have known because our son worked in the town. No, firstly, he didn’t know, and secondly, since he was new to the area, he couldn’t have estimated the damage this apartment would have for a week.They gave us a few francs off to save on cleaning. They didn’t want to approach the owner of the apartment. Sure, he brings in money, and they didn’t want to ruin their business. Better to turn away a guest; business is going well anyway. They offered us another apartment! But we would have had to pay extra for that. Here, too, no concessions whatsoever.Such behavior is reprehensible. We would have expected a subtle hint, because the ACKLES knew about the festival and where it was taking place.We moved out the next day. Almost 1,000 francs in damage, but at least we got some peace and quiet.leggi di più
